Angus Propsting is involved in trialling a new cattle ear tag that has the ability to send signals back to a computer app that shows a map of the paddock and location of all the tagged animals, updating hourly.

The offshoot of a Rabobank Technology initiative, the programme has been developed by Peter Minne Vogels and partners, with further capabilities hoping to be programmed in the future.
